Following a match on RAW that was supposed to determine the challenger for Charlotte at WrestleMania (a bout that ended in a draw), Banks and Lynch had a rematch this week on SmackDown, and this time it ended in a disqualification. Charlotte and her father Ric watched the match at ringside and when it looked like Banks and Lynch were going to go after Ric as he strutted at ringside, Charlotte attacked both divas from behind.
It was later revealed on the show during a backstage interview segment with Renee Young and Charlotte that there would be a triple threat match at WrestleMania. Charlotte didn’t seem pleased to hear the news, as she slowly walked off camera.
The match will certainly be highly anticipated, and it has a chance to be the first time in WrestleMania history where a womens match becomes showstealing, match of the show. All three of these ladies have had unbelievable matches together in NXT, now they get a chance to do it again in front of the biggest audience of the year at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
