john Cena made a shocking return to the WWE ring Sunday night at WrestleMania 32. The day before the show in Dallas, reports had surfaced that Cena was in the process of being medically cleared to compete at the ‘Show of Immortals’.
The face of WWE showed up alongside The Rock, proving WrestleMania would not have been the same without him:
His appearance at the show gave the WWE Universe a glimpse of what it will be like when Cena eventually moves on from being a full-time Superstar. Cena’s surprise appearance demonstrates the pull he has with the crowd even when he has not been advertised for a show.
The fact that John Cena was absent from Monday Nigh RAW shows he is not yet ready to return to a full-time active position on the roster. It is more than likely Cena will be cleared completely around May/June paving the way for his fully fledged return-as previously expected-in July leading up to the summers biggest PPV.
