Memorial Day is here, and many sports fans will be deciding whether to watch NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunders vs Golden State Warriors or the NHL Stanley Cup Final between However for many wrestling fans, tonight is going to be a momentous occasion in itself, as The Cenation Leader himself is returning after sustaining a shoulder injury back in January. A lot has changed since January, with The Authority no longer being a thing, AJ Styles not in Japan, and the New Era now emerging but the main question coming into this will be what John Cena’s agenda will be.
Notable things to look out for:
– With it being Memorial Day, we will expect to see a sustained theme of remembering the fallen soldiers, which is most probably going to be addressed by John Cena, advertisement from the WWE, and probably even in the Bob Buckland/Darren Young segments.
– There is still one place left in the Money In The Back match, with Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho so far in the picture. Who will be the final competitor for the Money In The Bank briefcase?
– We have the “technical match” between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler tonight. Hopefully this marks the end of their feud as mentioned, and have the Lone Wolf and the Show-Off go their separate ways.
– Bray Wyatt has teased a return tonight via Twitter saying “I make warriors of the unwanted. For you Abby #TheReturn”. Will he also be making a return tonight? If so, what will be his intentions, and who will be his next victim?
– Enzo and Cass will be starring in a match against The Dudley Boyz. How will Enzo be after the concussion he earned at WWE Payback? Will The Dudley
Boyz prove to be SAWFT?
– Aforementioned, John Cena is back. What will be his goal coming back be? Will he go straight for the WWE Championship via a feud with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns? Will he be the final Money In The Bank qualifier? Will he go after the US Championship and feud with Rusev in WWE’s attempt to make the US Championship relevant again?
