According to The
Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there's currently no plan in place to bring Bayley up from the developmental territory. While the star is more than ready to take WWE by storm, management doesn't have a replacement babyface to take her spot, and they're concerned that her absence from NXT will hurt the brand. In many ways, she's the most popular star in NXT, and WWE's decision-makers aren't in a rush to jeopardize what they view as a working formula.
Bayley first joined NXT in late 2012 after four years of working the independent circuit as Davina Rose. Though she didn't initially find success on the brand, by 2014 she, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch became the anchors of NXT's women's division, competing in great matches against one another consistently.
In 2015, Bayley captured the NXT Women's Championship from Sasha Banks at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. That bout was listed in WWE's recently-released 100 Greatest Matches book. credits : whatculture.com/wwe
