The stakes have never been higher as two former best friends collide
at the 2016 edition of Money in the Banks. Defending champion Roman
Reigns is set to go one on one against number one contender and former
WWE Champion Seth Rollins.
Reigns and Rollins have a long history dating back to there days in
the popular faction The Shield. After Seth turned his back on Reigns and
Ambrose, it was the Architect that rose to the top.
Due to injury at a European Tour Seth was forced to vacate the WWE
championship, and the Big Dog rose to the top of the card in his
absence. Now two former best friends will collide for the opportunity to
become the Man of the company.
After seven months of intense physical therapy, Seth Rollins returned
at Extreme Rules after Roman Reigns successfully defended his WWE
Championship against AJ Styles. Rollins rushed the ring and hit Reigns
with a Pedigree and made a clear statement, he was coming after the
champion.
Its only fitting that former Mr Money in the Bank was granted the
opportunity to take the most prestigious price in the industry, on the
most money night of the year, courtesy of Shane Mcmahon.
In Rollins absence, Reigns has solified himself a force to be
reckoned with by defeating the Game Triple H to become the champion, and
recently defeating the Phenomenal one Aj Styles.
Now as Rollins and Reigns set to collide for the first time on a
Paperview, there rivalry will become full circle as both athlete will
give it there all to become the top dog in WWE.
Will Reigns continue to prove that he is “The Guy”, or will Rollins win back the title that he never lost?
