The Miz cut one of the best promos of the year on Talking Smack this week, but interestingly enough, it was against a man who will never wrestle again. Or so we thought.
Forbes has reported that an insider with WWE has informed them that the company has not completely "shut the door" on Bryan ever returning to the ring. Apparently wrestlers taking shots at him for not being able to compete will become a part of the show.
This seems like an awful tease for both Bryan and the fans, unless the company feels certain that he will be cleared to wrestle someday. Otherwise there is no point for him to be mocked for his condition. Even if heels are able to get some heat for it, Bryan will never be able to get his revenge.
If you've watched the CWC, you can tell that Bryan is absolutely itching to get back in the ring, and has also revealed in interviews that he's not at peace with how his career ended. If he were given the opportunity to compete once more, he'd likely jump at the chance.
Time will tell if WWE ever does let him wrestle again. It seems like a long shot, but at 35-years-old, they likely have years to change their mind.
