WWE Raw: 8 Things To Expect Tonight (Mar 21) Part 2

6. More Dolph Ziggler Rebellion

WWE.comDolph Ziggler’s unexpected starring role in last week’s Raw seemed to be a one-off storyline, but his resurgence in the upper-midcard scene could be set to continue tonight. Not only is he the subject of the first entry in WWE.com’s Raw preview, the article also seems to suggest that the Show Off will continue to make his rebellious presence felt:
‘Don’t be surprised if the former World Heavyweight Champion attempts to instigate his way into another all-or-nothing bout on Raw.’
It looks as though Ziggler could be getting a ‘Mania payday after all, potentially against a noteworthy opponent. Bray Wyatt is still without a foe, after all.
Then again, he could merely find himself in the rumoured multi-man Intercontinental Championship match – although, at this late stage, perhaps any match is worthwhile.

5. A Three-Woman Brawl

WWE.comWWE have successfully built up the Divas Championship match to feel like a big deal – which is no mean feat, considering the fact that there wasn’t even a bout for that title at WrestleMania 31. Instead, we saw Paige and AJ (yes, she was still with the company in 2015!) defeat the Bellas in a fairly meaningless contest.
By contrast, the feud between Charlotte, Becky and Sasha has been full of history and intrigue. On SmackDown, the champ successfully turned her challengers against one another – although fell into the crossfire herself.
While their promo work might not always be the most consistent on the show, all three are clearly improving on the mic. This week, simply expect more of the same. Segments on SmackDown often seem to be trial runs of those on the following Raw (as ‘Y2AJ’ and the now-heel Dudleys have recently proven), so it won’t be a surprise to see another war of words devolve into fisticuffs tonight

4. A Six-Woman Tag Match For ‘Mania

WWE.comSpeaking of the divas division, another match looks to be in the works for ‘Mania – perhaps a six-woman tag between the heel team of Lana, Naomi and Tamina, and the babyface trio of Brie Bella, Paige, and Alicia Fox.
On tonight’s Raw we could perhaps see the match solidified. At the moment, and this is most certainly a criticism, the feud has resembled the start of the ‘Divas Revolution’ – with various figures squaring off inconsistently, for no discernible reason.
Hopefully tonight we’ll see some of those waters cleared, and a proper match set up for April 3rd.
