Last November, Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury that forced him to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and miss several months of action.
Now, PWInsider is reporting that WWE is internally planning to bring Rollins back on the June 6 episode of Raw, live from Oklahoma City.
Rollins was injured during a house show match with Kane in Dublin, tearing his ACL, MCL, and his medial meniscus. He underwent surgery and was given an estimated recovery time of six to nine months.
The star, arguably the best worker in WWE, has reportedly been working out at the company's Performance Center in Orlando for the past several days, according to the site. It had already been reported that once he completed filming Temple, produced by WWE Studios and co-starring Wesley Snipes, he would be ready to return.
Rollins's return on June 6 will be the second major comeback in as many weeks, as John Cena has already announced that he'll be making his long-awaited return on the May 30 Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
PWInsider also noted that Rollins could be back even earlier than June 6, if the company needs him.
