At Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins made his long-awaited return when he attack Roman Reigns after Reigns's victory over AJ Styles, laying the WWE World Heavyweight Champion out with a Pedigree.
Now, Rollins is looking to make another return, as he is officially scheduled for his first matches since his November injury.
WWE has announced two main event matches for Rollins in Texas this weekend. On Friday, Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins and AJ Styles in Odessa. The following evening in Lubbock, Sheamus will be added to the contest to make it a four-way title match.
So far, there's been no word as to when Rollins will wrestle his first match back on television. Though he's been announced as challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship at June 19's Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View, he's only made non-wrestling appearances on the past two Raw shows. With two episodes to go before the PPV, he'll likely have a chance to compete on TV first.
Rollins's most recent match was on November 4 of last year when he defeated Kane in Dublin, Ireland. In that match, Rollins - who was the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion - tore his ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus, forcing him to vacate the title and miss several months of action. His departure was a devastating blow for the company, as Rollins had been WWE's MVP throughout 2015.
