With the upcoming brand split and superstar draft, WWE is going to have to tap into some of its NXT talent to keep both Smackdown and Raw going strong. It is likely that stars like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Shinsuke Nakamura will be called up to the main roster. These calls ups will demand new talent and a new face for the NXT brand.
According to Daily Wrestling News, Vince McMahon has his eye on former Ring of Honor World Champion, Adam Cole to lead the new era of NXT. Cole recently joined The Bullet Club and is currently under contract with Ring of Honor. It is rumored that his contract will not be complete until April of 2017.
