None
of the matches are surprising, and in fact the only surprise regarding
the card to come out of the show was the lack of seventh man added to
the Money in the Bank ladder match itself.
A women's tag match
was added to the main card, as WWE Women's Champion Charlotte and new
ally Dana Brooke will team up to take on Natalya and Becky Lynch, as the
WWE Universe continues to scratch their heads and try to work out where
Sasha Banks is. Interestingly enough, the match represents one entire
calendar year of Charlotte performing on every WWE pay-per-view.
Two
matches were added to the pre-show, in the shape of Dolph Ziggler vs.
Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews vs. Sheamus. This is the third straight
WWE PPV that sees Ziggler and Corbin face-off on the pre-show, which
isn't the greatest state of affairs for either man. Sheamus will provide
Crews with his first match on WWE PPV.
The show takes places this
Sunday (June 19th) and is headlined by Roman Reigns defending the WWE
World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. Elsewhere, John
Cena and AJ Styles go one-on-one in a dream match, Dean Ambrose, Kevin
Owens, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn and Alberto Del Rio will vie for
the Money in the Bank briefcase, Rusev puts his United States
Championship on the line against Titus O'Neill and a fatal 4-way for the
tag belts will see The New Day go up against The Vaudevillains, The
Club (Gallows & Anderson) and Enzo & Big Cass.
